
Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness (usually simply called Warcraft II sometimes abbreviated to WCII, WC2, or War2) is the second, highly popular real time strategy game from Blizzard Entertainment set in the Warcraft universe. 5 Utilities, modifications and conversions.These titles are great, but they don’t meet the same standards that Warcraft 2 lives up to. Luckily, most computers have the hardware needed to play this amazing classic. This game can be run on Windows 7 and up. However, Blizzard finds a way to add some addictive magic to the game. Other than that, most of the game feels very linear.

The map creator, included in the game gives you a chance to design maps to fit your strategy. The 2D graphics may ward off a few players, but the visuals are fun and engaging. However, the rest of the units are exactly the same between teams. Heroes for either faction are very different, which sometimes can give one player an advantage over the other. Here is where some balance issues present themselves. In Warcraft 2 special units, known as heroes, can turn the tides of battle. New maps force you to search for new strategies, as well. By clicking on a unit enough times, you'll get some silly lines that are sure to make you laugh. There's also some great voice acting adding some much-needed flair to the game.

Flying units and ships take some of the combat away from the ground troops. This game offers plenty of changes that separate it from its predecessor. No matter how many times you start up a match, you will always be itching for another.
